Where we are today all started back in 1984 - it was only
Mike's third year of showing when he captured the Reserve
Grand Steer at the WI State Fair. The next year he won his
class at the American Royal. The fire was lit, and the passion
has run deep ever since - and it's true passion that keeps
cattlemen in the industry.
Mike and I met in 1988 at the Fort Worth Stock Show. I was
working for M6 Ranches out of Alvarado, TX,
and Mike was working for Dennis and Jane Adams of Ft. Sumner,
NM. Many years passed, and our paths crossed again in 2001 at
Louisville. We were married in 2003, and later added our
little farm hands, Reece and Kendyll. |

We have had many champion pens in Louisville and Denver in
past years, as well as State, Regional, and
County Fair Champions. We are proud of our program and are
willing to share our genetics with others. Mike's
experience as a young dairyman helped him become the quality
cattle manager he is today. We don't run a
large number of cows, as Mike is a one man operation (along
with our great cattle dog, Kirby). We currently
have 120 head on the farm, but they are 120 top bred, healthy,
happy cows - spoiled to be exact. We are
committed
to raising cattle that will perform both in the show ring and the
feedlot.
The majority of our herd is Maine x Angus, Simmi x Angus, or
Charolais influenced, with an emphasis on
fertility, maternal traits, and longevity - they have to milk
and have good udder attachment. We are proud of
our herd, as they represent many years of hard work, quality
cow families, and proven genetics. If you're ever
in the area, give us a call - we love visitors! Your time is
as valuable as ours, and you won't be disappointed.
Hope to see you soon!
